Do You Have?

"A raincoat with a zip-out liner?"  We get this question all the time at Sister Missionary Mall!  It is one of those things that is really hard to find and on the 'list' of thing sent out in the missionary packet.  The idea of this coat is great, saves space, serves two purposes, and is very functional.  The reality of it isn't quite as great.  I served my mission in Nauvoo a few years ago and I searched long and hard for a raincoat with a zip out liner.  The closest I could find was a trench coat with a button out liner so that is what I took.  As time went on I found that my coat was big, bulky, extremely unflattering, and that the button out liner was pretty useless.  So until we come up with a better solution (which we are always working on, stay tuned) this is what I always recommend as a better solution:

Our boiled wool coat from August silk.  Not only is this coat, comfortable (non itchy especially for wool), stylish, warm, and flattering, wool is a great water repellent which makes this coat just as functional as the idea of a raincoat with a zip out liner (if such thing even exists!) but BETTER!  And if you are determined to buy a raincoat, this coat is thin enough to fit under any rain coat as a more fashionable alternative to a zip out liner.  My trench coat with the button out liner is long gone (I didn't wear it once after coming home) whereas this coat is a staple for any wardrobe for years to come.  And at $69 it is doable at any budget.  Come check out our supply on at Sister Missionary Mall located at 210 East University Parkway in Orem.

Ladies Night was a success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this great event!  Here are a few highlights:

The winner of our grand prize (a $500 gift certificate!) went to this cute future sister missionary coming to check out our store!  We just love helping missionaries and were thrilled that this prize went to such a deserving customer.
