McKenna and Christin wore the same blouse in two completely different ways. Help us decide who wore it best by commenting below!
This is our Tuxedo blouse. It has been extremely popular with our staff and customers. It is the ultimate white blouse to have in any wardrobe! Both Christin and McKenna had this blouse altered by our awesome seamstress. McKenna had the sleeves shortened, and both girls had the blouse taken in on the sides.
Meet McKenna! McKenna is from Utah County and went to Germany for a nanny job after high school. For the next few years she took several other jobs and loved living in Europe. She hasn't served a full time mission however she does a great job helping sisters serving all of the world. We love the way McKenna pulls off scarves and bright bold lipstick! She has a great fashion sense and most customers assume she's served a full time mission because of her extensive knowledge about shopping for missionary clothing. McKenna used one of our great scarves, and the shell from our August silk twin set to make this blouse look colorful, modern and unique! We also just received a shipment of the skirt she is wearing which in the past has been a best seller, come get yours before they are gone!
Christin is our only full time employee so you'll be seeing a lot of her this week! She used accessories like a beaded necklace and belt to add color and style to her Van Heusen blouse. Love her shoes? The are part of Dansko's new line and are AmAzInG! Not only are these shoe beautiful they also offer Dansko's great support in a rocker bottom HEEL! A favorite among all of our employees.
So who wore it best, McKenna or Christin?

Do You Have?
"A raincoat with a zip-out liner?" We get this question all the time at Sister Missionary Mall! It is one of those things that is really hard to find and on the 'list' of thing sent out in the missionary packet. The idea of this coat is great, saves space, serves two purposes, and is very functional. The reality of it isn't quite as great. I served my mission in Nauvoo a few years ago and I searched long and hard for a raincoat with a zip out liner. The closest I could find was a trench coat with a button out liner so that is what I took. As time went on I found that my coat was big, bulky, extremely unflattering, and that the button out liner was pretty useless. So until we come up with a better solution (which we are always working on, stay tuned) this is what I always recommend as a better solution:
Also comes in black and tan
Our boiled wool coat from August silk. Not only is this coat, comfortable (non itchy especially for wool), stylish, warm, and flattering, wool is a great water repellent which makes this coat just as functional as the idea of a raincoat with a zip out liner (if such thing even exists!) but BETTER! And if you are determined to buy a raincoat, this coat is thin enough to fit under any rain coat as a more fashionable alternative to a zip out liner. My trench coat with the button out liner is long gone (I didn't wear it once after coming home) whereas this coat is a staple for any wardrobe for years to come. And at $69 it is doable at any budget. Come check out our supply on at Sister Missionary Mall located at 210 East University Parkway in Orem.

2010 Outerwear!
Yes, we know it was August just a few days ago, but we were so excited to receive our wool coats this week that we had to share! Here's a sample of what we're carrying.
All the coats are a polyester/wool blend and are fully lined: Dressy enough to wear to church, but not too dressy for everyday wear. We have S-3X in most styles, but we probably won't for long!
We also have some accessories by Burton available––beanies and amazing gloves in fun winter colors.
Holy houndstooth!
If you're not into that, the same style is available in black:
And my personal favorite:

Cuteness in six colors
We have a new skirt!

The fabric drapes beautifully and stretches just a little. The style flatters all figures, is ideal for sisters on bikes, and can be worn with or without the belt.
Colors: navy, celery, black, brown sugar, chocolate, and charcoal.

Like most of our skirts, this one costs $35.

At long last...
We received a shipment of SLIPS today, and there was much rejoicing in the store.
We have a knee-length split slip (for sisters on bikes) in black and white, a below-the-knee half slip in black and white, and a full slip in white.
Those who we wrote in our binder should have gotten a call today--but whether you were or not, if you need slips, we have them now!
